About the organization
Dunia Ya Watoto means The Children's World in Swahili.
Dunia Ya Watoto is an NGO and non-profit organization for children in Mwanza, Tanzania. We wish to support the children's motivation for earning, curiosity and creativity by facilitating after-school activities such as; sport, creativity & handcrafts, English lessons, dance & music and other formative activities. The organization was established in April 2024 and is driven through a strong partnership between Tanzania and Denmark. Vi have a close relation to the civil society and value local interests in the project.
We wish to create opportunities for children who grow up in a society, where the resources are few. Dunia Ya Watoto is a vibrant after-school center, where there is room for the children's big dreams and participation.
