Who are we?
Dunia Ya Watoto is an organization in Mwanza, Tanzania, founded by Obadia Mwaipaja and Jasmin Vind Hofmeister. We met in Tanzania in 2022 and in November 2023, we started developing the idea of this project together. In April 2024 Dunia Ya Watoto started operating.
Dunia Ya Watoto consists of a board of directors in Tanzania, who are responsible for the local development, implementing projects and managing compliance with guidelines for NGOs in Tanzania.
The board members in Tanzania are working together with the board in Denmark, who primarily work with fundraising and sharing information about our work in Denmark.
The daily management is facilitated by our amazing staff and teachers.
